This is my entry for :iconmode-de-vie: and :icondeath-by-romance:'s Six Word Story Contest - [link]

Despite only having to write 6 words, it's definitely more difficult than you might at first think (unless that's just me.. :O_o:) and there was a lot of thinking effort put into this.

I hope you can all imagine the story and interpret it in different ways from the information I've given you in the six words. The illustration (which I'm afraid is the height of both my photography and editing skills! :D) is there to enhance the story's meaning.. the blurriness and the blue, plus the expression and position are all meant to signify things about the story.. and despite it only being taken on my phone (:XD:), I hope it's worked.

I'd love to hear your responses and exactly what you take the situation to be from the story I've given you.. It'd be nice to see how well it's worked.

Anyway, I thought this was a brilliant idea for a contest, and would encourage others to give it a try! :heart:

(and on a side note, this is not an autobiographical account..)

I at first thought pregnancy test but this would be too easy. How about she comes home early one day and finds her husband in bed with her sister, and he quicky chirps "just in time come join the party". As we can see she's none to happy with this but lets face it lots of women make the wrong choice when it comes to love relationships and marriage. So she cries and says that this is the last humiliation and she is leaving. Well he's heard this all before many a time. She says she's positive about leaving this time. He knows positive is just another word for confident and when has she been confident about anything in her life, but what you don't know but I do and will now tell you is that her day is about to get a lot worse when she enters the bathroom to wash the tears out of her eyes and finds her mother getting ready to join the party!

brilliant young romantic. I go with the pregnancy test. But now that I think about it, it could be that she is breaking up with someone and he swears when he knows it's final. How's that?

Yes, but it's just a story and it somewhat hinges on one assumption-that lots of women make the wrong choice in relationships. I kind of think that this is not true since I believe the humane species would be extinct by now if it were true.
